ABOUT ME

Hi, it’s nice to meet you! My name is Nastya Krychun. I’m a freelance professional photographer based in Israel, Tel Aviv. I've been taking photos for 17 years. Specialize in creating visual content and family portraits report. I prefer natural lighting, real emotions and attention to details.

I´m 34 years old, was born and raised in Eastern Europe, Belarus. Russian is my native language, I also speak English and primary level Hebrew. We moved with my husband and child to Israel in late 2022.

My journey in photography began when I was just 14 years old. In high school, I started taking pictures of acquaintances, I was able to earn my first salary. Thanks to a friend, I took photo classes. My dad noticed my success and invested in my future by buying me my first camera SLR and lens. I made portraits and nature, this is how I learned. In 2007, I entered the university and my social circle expanded greatly. I was able to purchase a full-frame camera and professional lenses. Then I was invited to cooperate with the city organizers of rock concerts, and so I learned how to shoot a reportage. In 2009, I photographed the first marriage. I have taken photos of weddings in different parts of Europe and have gained much experience in different weather and light conditions. My wedding photo series was published in a printed magazine and wedding portals. I have been shooting weddings for 13 years and now I shoot only weddings for two, in the format of a love story.

During 2011-2015 I was fond of model photography. I worked closely with makeup artists, stylists and modeling agencies. I have a great experience working at a photo studio.

After the birth of my daughter, I also found myself in family life and child shootings: pregnancy, newborns, children's anniversary, home shoots for families.

In 2017, I tried to create visual content and products photography. Social media developed and everyone began to need high-quality content for websites, Instagram, Facebook. For five years I managed to work with almost many areas: beauty masters, restaurants, bloggers, IT industry, cosmetics, doctors, engineering, fashion and jewelry designers, marketers, psychologists, lawyers, hairdressers, animal groomers, coaches, dancers, cooks and bakers, shops and etc.

I took courses for a photographers, but experience has been my greatest teacher, shaping me into the photographer I am today.

In 2022, I successfully gathered people together in my author workshops on mobile photography. Now photography has become more accessible to people thanks to smartphones. And I really want people to be in a position to take better photos for their business.

In an effort to share my passion and knowledge, I have organized author workshops focused on mobile photography. I believe that everyone should have the ability to capture better photos for their businesses or personal enjoyment. Furthermore, I am excited to soon launch online products for photographers, including presets, consultations, and mentoring sessions.

2023 was a very busy year and I was able to build my business from scratch in a new country. I worked a lot: I assembled a wonderful team, found regular clients, worked with famous bloggers, organized photo days, brought awesome projects to life, and did mentoring.
